CREATIVE DIRECTOR - PUTNEY CHORAL SOCIETY
Putney Choral Society is an un-auditioned choir drawn from the Putney and Wimbledon area, currently consisting of between 60 to 80 members. We give three performances a year, two formal, with full professional orchestra, and an informal summer performance.
In the era of social media and the increasing demand for a more significant and professional media presence, the choir realises that forming a more direct relationship with the local community will involve updating and developing the choir’s overall brand. We therefore want to appoint a part-time Creative Director, for an initial period of one year, to work closely with the Music Director, Christopher Braime, to attract new audiences and new members.
The Creative Director will be responsible for creating all marketing and publicity content and ensuring it is disseminated where sensible, including working with our website manager, Music Director and Secretary.
This is a fixed term contract from September 2019 to July 2020 over the three school terms in which the choir rehearses and performs three concerts. The employer is Putney Choral Society.
