Singers especially tenors and basses

We are a new, exciting, friendly choir with a  fast growing reputation based just outside Battle, in East Sussex.

We sing a wide variety of repertoire, chosen in conjunction with choir members. We have a dynamic and inspirational Director of Music who has taken us from 8 female singers to 24 SATB in just 18 months. We often sing with Louise Winter, our President , who is an international opera star and who from time to time offers the choir masterclasses or individual singing appraisals.

Our new season starts in January when we plan to rehearse a new, varied repertoire of pieces for a performance as part of Battle Festival in October 2020. The main part of the repertoire features the Rutter Requiem but also includes music by Handel, Monteverdi, Faure, Gershwin Paulus and Lennon/ McCartney amongst others.

We are actively seeking a few more bass singers and one or two tenors but welcome enquiries from all voice parts. If you have some singing experience and are interested in this unique local choir, please get in touch.
