French Horn

We are looking for a competent horn player to complete our extremely capable, friendly horn section. Music covered is primarily stage, screen, pop and swing but we have been known to venture into the realms of Mozart on occasions!

The band currently has 58 members, many of whom are grade 8+.  As a band we undertake around 20 engagements a year ranging from proms, formal and entertaining concerts to carolling. Our music is always changing and we endeavour to entertain our audiences through visual performances whilst not compromising the high standard of music performance. 

Based in Worle, near Weston-super-Mare, most of our gigs are within 25 miles of the band room but we do sometimes travel further afield if the right gigs come up.  We also have a weekend away each year along with various other social activities. Team work and reliability are key to us.  In short, we are probably the most friendly band you will ever play in!
