Mike Cocke, Secretary of the Luton Choral Society writes about how they are embracing diversity to grow their membership.

Luton Choral Society has a unique history. We were founded in 1866 and apart from a few years during the First World War and the recent COVID pandemic, we have performed several events every year since our founding and are now in our 152nd season. 

Our archive includes a programme from 1879 and photos of choral performances conducted by Sir Adrian Boult amongst many other items.

A trusted concert tour provider is looking for UK-based music group leaders to take part in market research to help them develop a brand-new website. 

Selected participants will be paid £100 in return for one hour of their time on an online meeting platform. This can be carried out from the comfort of your own home or workplace. Daytime and evening slots will be available on various dates in March.

The Government has recently opened a consultation on the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) bill now referred to as 'Martyn’s Law,' on the 'standard tier' of premises (those with a capacity of 100-799) before it goes to parliament.
