Singing – good for the heart and soul! – This is how our 150-strong choir feels about singing, whether performing at our public concerts or meeting on Monday evenings to rehearse.

Under the expert guidance of our Music Director, Richard Laing, the Choir is looking forward to its 170th season of concerts, starting in November 2025 with the welcome return of a well-loved choral classic, Mendelssohn’s Elijah. Booking for this, together with our annual Messiah and Family Carol Concerts, is open now. We’re also performing in a very special Nottingham Classics concert in January, with Sinfonia Viva and no less than three of the Kanneh-Masons!

As an amateur choir we strive to perform to a high standard, working with professional orchestras and soloists, and we have a proud record of operating as an independent charity.
