Recordare. Songs of the Setting Sun

Formed in 2018, this outstanding group consists of alumni from the Genesis Sixteen scheme, the Royal Academy of Music and former choral scholars from many of the UK’s leading collegiate choirs.  Members have performed with the Tallis Scholars, The Gabrielli Consort, Tenebrae and The Sixteen, as well as having solo careers in opera and oratorio.  

 

Leader Harry Bradford was Genesis Sixteen conducting scholar 2018-19 and Alec Robertson Scholar at Westminster Cathedral.  He also conducts the English Baroque Choir, the Thames Philharmonic Choir and North Herts Guild of Singers and won 2nd Prize in the prestigious 2022 Eric Ericson award in Stockholm, conducting the Swedish Radio Choir.
