Musical Director of Alder Valley Brass

Alder Valley Brass seek an enthusiastic and experienced permanent Musical Director due

to the imminent relocation of the current MD, who is expected to vacate the post this

summer.

Alder Valley Brass, based at the All Hallows Catholic School in Farnham, Surrey competes

in the Second Section (London & Southern Counties) which we won in 2023 and were

then placed 2nd in the national finals. We are an ambitious, busy and sociable band who

wish to return to the First Section at the earliest opportunity.

Rehearsals are on Mondays and Thursdays 8pm to 10pm in a spacious facility within the

school.

We have an ongoing programme of engagements throughout the year plus contests, and

in recent years have incorporated visits to the Netherlands and the Whit Friday contests.

Auditions / Interviews will take place on rehearsal evenings from early June.
