Choir Leader

Kaleidoscope Community Choir is part of Kaleidoscope Community Music which aims to create opportunities for people in Derby and Derbyshire to be involved in making music whatever their ability.

We are a long established mixed Community Choir. We aim to be welcoming and inclusive, supportive of those who have not yet sung whilst involving those who are much more experienced. The choir is open access, with no auditions. Kaleidoscope Community Music aims to provide a supportive environment where respect is shown to all.

We sing folk songs in English and other languages in 3 or 4 part harmonies, a cappella style. We currently meet every Thursday evening from 7.45 to 9.30 pm.

We are a not-for-profit organisation and the Choir Leader's remuneration is currently £70-£90 per session, depending on experience, for approximately 42 weeks of the year.
