Take part in BBC Music Day

The fifth BBC Music Day takes place on Thursday 26 September 2019 with events and broadcasts across the week.

Last year many of you took part in BBC Music Day's Platform to Perform. The centrepiece for this year’s activity is a celebration of music and wellbeing; the power of music to inspire, to bring us together and make a positive impact.

BBC Music Day: Friday 3 June 2016

BBC Music Day aims to connect communities and generations through a UK-wide celebration of music on TV, Radio, online and at live events.

In June this year, the very first BBC Music Day featured over 20 live music events, including a 73-mile musical relay from dawn to dusk along Hadrian’s Wall, a special educational needs and disability youth concert with The British Paraorchestra in Bristol, and a record-breaking musical event in Cardiff.
