The George John and Sheilah Livanos Charitable Trust provides grants to chosen beneficiaries to support general charitable purposes.

Applications can be made at any time.

The Trust does not have a website or an email address.

The Emerton-Christie Charity offers grants to registered charities undertaking a wide range of projects in the UK, especially in the areas of education/training, disability, the advancement of health or saving of lives, arts/culture/heritage/science and environment/conservation/heritage.

Funding is available at the discretion of the Trustees. Most grants awarded in the past years have been for between £1,000 and £3,000.

Grants are available to registered charities in the UK for projects relating to education, the visual and performing arts, the relief of disability and severe illness, the preservation of buildings of architectural or historical significance and the accomodation of those in need.

The Astor Foundation provides grants for registered charities in the UK.

The primary object of the Foundation is medical research, favouring research on a broad front rather than in specialised fields. 

In addition to its medical connection, historically the Foundation has also supported initiatives for:

Registered Charities or Voluntary or Community Organisations that undertake and provide charitable activities, can apply. All projects submitted for grant-aid must operate for the benefit of the community of Warrington Borough and must aim to improve the quality of life in the Borough.

Projects and activities that will be supported include: those that promote local community-based direct services; projects that tackle local problems; new local services or activities; help for existing groups to develop their services.

Registered charities based and operating within England and Wales may apply and applications are reviewed four times a year.

Funding can be used for a wide range of charitable projects and activities.
