Making Music will broadcast or share your video (or audio/photo) submission on YouTube and/or Facebook and Instagram. Copyright permissions for the broadcast will be covered by those platforms’ licensing agreements.
By submitting content:
- You confirm that you have permission from individuals featured in the recording/photos to use the recording/photos.
- You accept responsibility should the copyright holders of the works you submit object to their use in a project as specified on the webform you have completed e.g. Virtual Concerts, Up In Lights project or Make Music Day.
- You confirm you have permission and the appropriate license to use any stock video footage or photos you submit.
- You accept responsibility should the copyright holders of of any stock video footage or photos you submit object to their use in the project specified in the webform you have completed.
- Ownership of all content submitted remains with your group:
- You give permission for Making Music to include the content in the project specified in the webform you have completed.
- You give permission for Making Music to edit and adapt your content as is necessitated by production for the project specificed by the webform you have completed.
- You give permission for Making Music to use your content on their website and social media platforms to promote the specified project, Making Music groups and leisure-time music.
- You can withdraw this permission at any time you want by contacting us directly.
- Any income generated for Making Music from the above activities remains with Making Music.
Making Music:
- Will not use or share your content in any way other than described above.
- Will endeavour to promote your group when sharing your content.
- Accepts no liability for any loss or damage to you through the activities described above.
- Whilst we will endeavour to include as many groups in our projects as possible, we cannot guarantee that your submission will be included and we reserve the right not to include your submission. If you are not included, we will not be able to notify you.
