Celebrate UK

You could celebrate something from your community's history or a local hero. Or maybe it's a chance to bring people together to get to know their neighbours better.

We are especially keen to receive applications from groups who have not applied to us before.

You will also need to show that your project is open to everyone in your local community.

We will give higher priority to applications from:

Breckland - Small Match Funding Grants

The Small Match Funding scheme forms part of Breckland Council's Community Funding Reserve, which is a group of funding streams that have been designed to empower groups and individuals within the district to deliver projects at a local level that align with the Council's objectives. It is an 'enabling fund' that aims to encourage 'localism' in addressing identified community need.

The Small Match Funding scheme offers grants to cover up to 50% of the total project costs.

Bransholme Trust

With donations from the Sir James Reckitt Charity and the Hull and East Riding Charitable Trust, the Bransholme Trust is able to offer small grants to charitable groups who are active in Hull. The funding is administered by the Hull Community and Voluntary Services (CVS).

Funding is intended to assist local voluntary and community groups with projects and activities that benefit Bransholme Estate residents.

Berkshire Community Foundation

Berkshire Community Foundation was established in 1985 and manages funds on behalf of a range of different donors and funding bodies to provide grants to tackle need at the grassroots of the Berkshire community. The Foundation will allocate applications to the most appropriate fund.

The Foundation aims to build stronger communities through giving grants to support the smaller groups which are doing vital work but have difficulties raising funds.

Aspire Grants

The Gentoo Housing Group, formerly known as the Sunderland Housing Group, offers the Aspire Grant scheme to anyone living or working with local people in the City of Sunderland.

The funding is intended to help local people improve their community.

The Alfred Williams Charitable Trust

The Alfred Williams Charitable Trust offers grants to local voluntary and community groups in Suffolk only.

Preference is given to projects that preserve or regenerate the built heritage, amenity and landscape of the county. Funding will also be given to social causes either for start-up projects, or for modest on-going support to groups involved in voluntary care, education, theatre, music and youth and community projects.

The R. W. Mann Trust

The Trust has a preference for supporting organisations in the North Tyneside, South East Northumberland and in the East Newcastle areas. In certain circumstances we may assist those operating in the wider Tyne, Wear, Durham and Northumberland areas if we consider that they offer exceptional added value to their communities or are particularly innovative. Support to national organisations will only be given where there is a specific project in the area in which we operate.
