Description of vacancy:
Thinking about playing more now that life is readjusting? BSW are welcoming anybody interested in joining us to an open rehearsal on Saturday 25 September. We rehearse 9.30am - 4.00pm, but oyu are welcome to come for the morning/afternoon or the day.
Whether your instrument is woodwind, orchestral brass, or percussion we would love to meet you.
Rehearsals are (not all) Saturdays during term time, in Bromsgrove. Our concerts are at CBSO Centre in Birmingham, also in Warwick.
We go on fantastic international tours (New York, Hong Kong, Latvia and Lithuania, Chicago.. the list goes on) and play with acclaimed soloists (Jacqui Dankworth, Craig Ogden, Simone Rebello just for starters).
You'll need to play to a high standard (grade 8 equivalent plus), but it's also important to us that everyone is welcomed and gels well.
