Description of vacancy:
We are looking for a Musical Director who will take us forward in the performance of a mixed repertoire of established classical works, lesser known pieces and the exploration of some contemporary music. We have found that well known pieces tend to bring larger audiences but we do not want to confine ourselves to these as we have found great enjoyment in getting to grips with lesser known pieces, some by contemporary composers. We have premiered some works by local composers. We welcome a challenge, but appreciate a director who has patience as we are a choir of mixed abilities.
