Tenors and Altos

The Thames Head Singers in Stroud are looking for a few more Tenors and Altos to join our lively, friendly chamber choir of around 30 singers.

We sing an exciting mix of music – everything from Renaissance classics to jazz, folk, contemporary works and even the odd pop song. Some pieces are challenging, others are just good fun, but all of them sound better with a few more strong middle voices!

Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings in Stroud, led by our brilliant Musical Director, Andrew Hopwood. You don’t have to be a professional singer – just enthusiastic, able to hold a part, and keen to enjoy making music with others.

We’re as sociable as we are musical: post-rehearsal pub trips and relaxed socials are part of choir life, too.
