Charnwood Voices’ seventh annual Come and Sing workshop will be choruses from Rossini’s Petite Messe Solonnelle and will be led by Nicholas Scott-Burt. It will start with registration at 10am, finishing with a performance at 5.30pm. The cost will be £15 per person (£10 for any singer aged 18 or under) and includes a loaned copy of the score, tea/coffee at lunchtime, and tea & cake in the late afternoon break
Rossini was the John Rutter of his time: his Petite Messe Solennelle is neither “petite” nor “solennelle” - but one of the most exciting and entertaining Choral works of the 19th century!
As ever, booking will be essential and the application forms will be available in October/November and will be available on our website - or e-mail us to make sure you receive your copy: comeandsing@charnwoodvoices.org.uk.
