The Choir with No Name runs choirs and builds joyful singing communities with people impacted by homelessness and marginalisation, around the UK.
Every Monday night, you'll lead a vibrant community through repertoire that ranges from intimate local performances to world-class venues like Cadogan Hall and St Martin in the Fields. This isn't just about conducting - you'll co-create a therapeutic, trauma-informed environment where choir members take active leadership roles, develop genuine friendships, and rebuild confidence alongside their vocal skills. Working closely with the Choir Manager, you'll prepare members for 6-12 performances annually while fostering the collaborative spirit that makes our choirs special.
We're looking for someone with mixed-ability choir experience, excellent musical and arrangement skills, and the empathy to work with people facing various vulnerabilities. Understanding of trauma-informed practice is essential, as is the ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaborative relationships.
