Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the National Federation of Music Societies, trading as Making Music, will be held as below:

Celebration of 90 Years of Making Music
2025 is the 90th anniversary of the founding of The National Federation of Music Societies and at this AGM, we'll be marking the occasion with a look back at the history of the association and its role in the musical heritage of the UK. From 300 members at the first conference in 1935, to around 4,000 members today, what does our journey tell us about how leisure time music making has changed over almost a century?
Voting in the board elections
This year there are four vacancies on the Board of Making Music and 9 candidates standing.
To help you decide who to vote for you can view the candidates' statements.
Vote online, by email or by post by 9am on Tuesday 1 July 2025.
If you are posting your vote, it must be received by Making Music by 9am on Tuesday 1 July to be valid. Royal Mail say that 1st class letters are delivered the next working day, and 2nd class letters in 2-3 working days. We cannot consider votes which arrive after this time. Please note the Making Music office change of address to 4 London Wall Place, London, EC2Y 5AU.
Results will be announced at the AGM on Wednesday 2 July 2025.
