First comprehensive report on singing in Europe now available

Reports on singing come thick and fast these days, such as the recent one published by the Royal Society, entitled 'The ice-breaker effect: singing mediates fast social bonding'.

BBC Music Day aims to connect communities and generations through a UK-wide celebration of music on TV, Radio, online and at live events.

In June this year, the very first BBC Music Day featured over 20 live music events, including a 73-mile musical relay from dawn to dusk along Hadrian’s Wall, a special educational needs and disability youth concert with The British Paraorchestra in Bristol, and a record-breaking musical event in Cardiff.
