Registered charities based in, or benefitting, residents of Teesside, County Durham, Tyne & Wear and Northumberland may apply. Local charitable organisations are viewed more favourably than large national organisations.

Community and voluntary groups that are not able to register as charities may apply with a letter of support from a suitable registered charity (such as a local CVS) which is willing to hold the grant on their behalf.

Priority will be given to projects which address one or both of the following:

One Stop Carriers for Causes Grants

 

The One Stop’s ‘Carriers for Causes’ grants programme, administered by Groundwork, is funded through the money raised from the 5p bag charge in One Stop stores in England, Wales and Scotland.

The funding is intended for local not-for-profit organisations that have projects located within two miles of a One Stop store in England, Scotland or Wales.
