Solihull -Amateur Wind Band welcomes new players - esp welcome Trumpet, Sax, Baritone, Bassoon players

We are an amateur community band and registered charity  offering a chance play with a very friendly band, rehearsing (term times) on Wednesdays in Olton and playiing  3-4 concerts per year.

We have no auditions - we have many very experienced players, but also many players join with only grade 2-4 level playing experience and improve through time. Counting through 'rests' and any "too-difficult-for-me-now" bits is the only skill required as you impover over time. This is a great - and friendly-  band to improve ensemble playing also, for those used to just practicing alone.  We have vacancies in most sections and would especially welcome players wanting to boost our Trumpet, Baritone and Sax and Bassoon sections
