We would love to hear from any local musicians who would like to join our orchestra. In the woodwind section, we are looking for a 2nd bassoonist and a 2nd clarinet (to cover a temporary absence). We are always happy to welcome strings players but in particular we are looking for cellists and double bass players. Also any brass players or percussionists would be warmly welcomed. We rehearse on a Monday evening during term time, 7.30-9.30pm in Nailsea. Grade 5 and above. We would be delighted if any younger musicians would be interested in joining us. 

After our Bb bass player has retired due to ill health, we are looking for a replacement. We are a very friendly bunch who enjoy a good laugh whilst also concentrating on continual improvement. We are currently a 2nd section competing band.

We have a need for a front bench and two back bench cornets to join our friendly team. City of Norwich Brass is a competing band, currently in the 2nd section of the National Championships.

An exciting but rare opportunity has arisen to join Kent's leading and most anticipated Brass Band. Due to work relocation, we offer you the opportunity to join the band's front row cornet section, position negotiable. Betteshanger is a hard-working band but knows how to socialise as well. We have a good balance between concerts and contests and have enjoyed a good run of contest successes in the last couple of years, having previously taken a break from contesting for almost a decade.
