Instrumentalist

Paddock Orchestra are looking for string players - violin, viola, cello & double bass - as we expand the size and scope of our orchestra.

We are a well established, friendly, amateur orchestra that performs at least three public concerts a year in the Huddersfield area.

Rehearsals are on a Tuesday evening, 7.30pm at Paddock Community Centre, West View, Paddock, Huddersfield HD1 4TX

We currently have vacancies for additional strings (especially viola), trombones, 2nd bassoon and percussion. 

We are looking for cornet players of all abilities to build our this important section of our band.  We rehearse Tuesday evenings from 7.45 to 9.45.  Our intention this yer is to compete in an entertainment style event.  Please make contact if you wish to discuss further or learn more.

Sinfonia Tamesa is an amateur orchestra based in Central London. We are looking to recruit some new string players--cellists in particular, but we have some space in all sections. 

Our players are Grade 8+ standard and we rehearse in blocks of 6 weeks with a concert at the end. In a couple of weeks, our next run begins, and it would be great if you'd like to join us for that! 

Trinity Concert Band is a high quality wind orchestra with vacancies for percussionists. The majority of the playing would be on tuned percussion.

Member of a small section, 3-4 players. Application swelcome any time.

Ashford Sinfonia is a friendly community orchestra taking players from grade 3 upwards.  We are looking for violin, viola, double bass and oboe players who would like to come along on a Monday evening to St. Mary the Virgin Church, Willesborough, Kent from 7.15pm to 9.15pm to join us.  No audition required, just come along and play but please do bring your own music stand.  All other players are equally welcome so do please come along, it's just that we do need more of the above!!
