Open Rehearsal for wind/brass/percussion instrumentalists

Open Rehearsal for players interested in finding out more about Birmingham Symphonic Winds.

Horn F/E flat, Euphonium, BaritoneHorn, Percussion Tuned and Kit

We are looking to recruit 2 Horn in E flat/ F players, 1 Euphonium player, 1 Baritone Horn player and a Percussion Tuned and Kit player. 
Anyone interested is welcome to come and play along in rehearsals.

We are currently looking to recruit  one Oboe player, 2 Flute players, 1 B flat and 1 Eflat Clarinet players,1 Baritone Saxophone player and 2 Tenor Saxophone players.

E flat Bass, Trombone and B flat Trumpet / Cornet Players

World Music Instrumentalists Teaching Traineeships with Stipend

 

Applications open for funded teaching traineeships for World Music instrumentalists, with stipend.

Stipend: Total £4,320

 

PRSSV - Institute of Performing Arts and Heritage welcomes applications for its accredited trainee programme for World Music instrumentalists supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Training will lead to a Level 4 accredited qualification for world music instrumentalists enabling them to teach in schools and includes a placement in one of our partner London Music Hubs in Harrow, Hillingdon, Newham or Waltham Forest.    

 

Are you an experienced world music instrumentalist looking to develop a teaching career in schools?

Are you passionate about sharing the skills, heritage and traditions surrounding your musical instrument?   

Can you commit 2 days a week between October 2021 and July 2022 for training, including a placement in a London primary school?
