Making Music Virtual Christmas Concert

This year has been tough for leisure-time music groups, but our members have continued to meet virtually and make music together against all odds.

Our Virtual Concert Series, featuring member groups playing and singing the music they love, has brought a shining light to Tuesday evenings, and we're thrilled to now apply this collective spirit to a joyful, virtual Christmas concert celebration!

Growing your membership: performing groups (online event)

Many groups have told us that they want to be able to recruit more members, and in particular, to engage better with younger people. Thanks to a legacy left to us by Pauline Thompson, we’ve been able to develop a bank of ideas that can help!

Come along and find out more about the research we’ve done, how you can use it to help your group reach more people of all ages, and how you can still engage with new people even with social distancing guidelines in place.

Ayr Choral Online

Ayr Choral will be holding online rehearsals for the first part of Season 2020-21.  The ongoing effects and restrictions of Covid-19 mean that our best option is to  continue to rehearse and perform online – meeting the needs of our members , and strengthening the singing community wherever people are -  until circumstances allow us to sing together and perform safely in person for our brilliant audiences.

Making Music Virtual Concert Series

Join us on Facebook or YouTube for our first Virtual Concert of 2021!

Many of our member groups are not able to play or sing together in person at the moment, but many have been busy meeting up and making music together online from their homes. Now we are bringing these performances together and giving them a virtual platform so that audiences can experience and enjoy the wonderful variety of leisure-time music being created all across the UK.
