Conductor/Music Director

Bourne Choral needs a new musical director. Established over 30 years ago, it is a mixed non-auditioning choir of currently about 25 adult singers of varying experience and ability. Rehearsing on Monday evenings, we have a versatile accompanist and perform 2 or 3 concerts a year, the repertoire including a variety of musical genres. We are looking for an enthusiastic leader based within the South Lincolnshire area who can inspire a friendly bunch of singers.

We are a mixed voice choir formed in 1970 with approximately 30 members.

We rehearse in Heaton, Bradford, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm on a Wednesday.

We perform 3 to 4 concerts annually

Cranford Choral Society (CCS), near Wallingford, is looking for a Music Director (MD) to direct and train the choir from January 2022. 

We're a friendly bunch, happy to take on a wide range of musical challenges. We've sung Bruckner's Mass in B Minor and David Fanshawe's African Sanctus. But we've also loved tackling show tunes and folk songs.

Our Music Director plays a big part in shaping our plans and encouraging new members.

Musical Director/Conductor of Witham Choral required to replace retiring MD

The ‘Uckfield Singers’ is a community choir of c.50 members open to anyone who enjoys singing. No auditions are held and therefore the membership comprises all abilities. We are looking for a choral musical director to lead us and take the choir forward. We perform a varied repertoire, which includes musical theatre, pop classics, folk and classical pieces.

Hours:           Approx. 6 per week, including rehearsal and preparation time + extra for gigs/workshops

Fee:              £150 per rehearsal, plus sessional fees for gigs and workshops

The Choir with No Name (CWNN) runs quirky pop music choirs for people affected by homelessness in London, Birmingham, Brighton and Liverpool. We're looking for an excellent community musician to lead our brand new Cardiff choir.

Newbury Chamber Choir is seeking a choral director from January 2022. We are a choir of about 40 members

who sing and perform music across ten centuries. We have wide experience in singing early music. We have 

just had several pieces  specially written for us. We have performed Purcell operas and Gilbert and Sullivan.

We perform three to four concerts a year in Newbury and nearby villages. We rerehearse on Tuesday. Please contact

Divertimento, one of Leamington Spa’s foremost chamber choirs, is seeking to appoint a new Musical Director to commence in November 2021

Southern Union Chorus is a 35 strong all-male barbershop group based in Poole, Dorset and we are looking for a new Music Director.

Prior to lockdown the group appeared regularly at various venues as well as competing in local and national competitions singing a wide repertoire of songs.

The group rehearse on Monday evenings between 19.30 and 22.00 at a school in Poole (see later for details)
