The film Orchestra has Community Orchestras in Birmingham, Cheltenham, Malvern, Stratford-Upon-Avon with a NEW orchestra opening in September in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

Each orchestra rehearses MONTHLY on Sunday afternoons.

Musicians of all ages are encouraged to join from around grade 4- 8+

The cost of membership is £20 until the end of December 31st 2017. Then £50 for the whole of 2018.

We ONLY play original music for film, TV & video games.

Recruiting new players

We are looking for new players in all sections.

Join a friendly group of musicians playing for a variety of charity and community events. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings in Leeds.

Our library has over 300 items, recent additions include highlights from ‘Frozen’, Symphonic Dances from Fiddler on the Roof, and ‘Puttin’ on the Ritz’. Recent events have included Charity concerts at Trinity Arts Centre and St Columba’s, Headingley, as well as Sunday park bandstand concerts.

The Thames Philharmonia is one of London’s leading amateur orchestras with a reputation for adventurous, high quality concerts. A wide and varied repertoire includes orchestral, choral and operatic works. We perform regularly at the Landmark Arts Centre in Teddington under the direction of Byung-Yun Yu.  Rehearsals take place on five Sunday evenings 6-9 pm before a concert in or around Kingston. 

We are currently looking for string players to join our friendly, well-established, central London based orchestra.

There is no formal audition process. People interested in playing with the orchestra can drop us a line at the email address below. We will then invite you to a rehearsal, allowing you the opportunity to see if you like the way we work. We usually expect potential players to be of Grade 8 standard or equivalent.

Fun and friendly band with varied musical abilities from novice to retired pro's. Great events and town twinning trip to Germay every other September to perform in festivities.

Trombones and Euphs would ideally will be of good standard to strengthen the section.

We are a community concert band and have 50+ players on our books with 30+ regulary at reharsals.

CALLING SOUTH WEST BASED STRING and HORN PLAYERS

The EX4 Chamber Orchestra is an Exeter-based group meeting several times per year. We rehearse intensively over a weekend (usually a bank holiday weekend) and put on a concert on the final day.
