Vacancies: Percussion, Violas, Double Bass, Trumpets and Trombone players.

Cambridge Wind Band are looking for a grade 8 plus player to join them in the first oboe chair.

Rehearsals take place in central Cambridge on Thursday evenings (7:30 to 9:30pm). 

Any one who is interested would be required to carry out an informal audition.

We're looking for a number of musicians to fill out our Wind Orchestra, joining an enthusiastic newly formed group, based in South Cheshire.

Newbury Symphony Orchestra  is looking for experienced violin players to join the 1st violin section

We play three concerts / year . We are amateur musicians from Berkshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire

Our music director - Jonathan Williams is Head of Music at St Hilda's College Oxford

We are a community based orchestra and always welcome new players, we rehearse on Wednesday evenings

Our next concert - on Saturday 10th November includes Vaughan Williams Symphony No 3, and Ravel Tombeau de Couperin

The following instruments are needed for a friendly amateur concert band based in Underriver near Sevenoaks in Kent. We rehearse on a Friday evening at 6.45pm.

The Humber Wind Band is a friendly wind band who rehearse in Hessle on Tuesday Evenings at 7pm. 

We play a wide variety of music and are looking to recruit members in all sections.

We do not hold auditions and anyone is welcome to come and try out the band before committing to joining.

We have just moved to our new rehearsal premises and have an exciting concert schedule ahead. 

We especially would like more percussionists and trombones, but all instruments welcome.

Ocean brass are looking for percussion players to join the team.

Based in Southampton, Ocean rehearse once a week on a Thursday evening. We are a friendly band and have a good balance of concerts, contests and social activities.​
