Based in Southampton, Ocean rehearse once a week on a Thursday evening. We are a friendly band and have a good balance of concerts, contests and social activities.​

Do you play the bassoon and are looking for a permanent position within an orchestra. The Royal Sutton Coldfield Orchestra are looking for 1-2 bassoon players to join one of the Midlands leading amateur orchestra. For details on the orchestra please visit www.royalsuttoncoldfieldorchestra.org.uk

We will be in need, from September 2018, of someone to play drum kit and to assist with other percussion parts when necessary.  An ability to read from standard musical notation and to follow a conductor are requisites.   We play a wide variety of concert band music.  We're out to improve but don't take ourselves too seriously.  Feel free to ring Stephen (MD) on 07944917208 for further information.

The Middlewich Concert Orchestra presently has vacancies for players in all sections of the strings.  In particular, the orchestra needs to increase its strength in the violins.  However, enquiries from players of other stringed instruments will be more than welcome.  Please use the link from the website to contact the Orchestra.

Abergavenny Symphony Orchestra wishes to appooint a new Leader for September 2018.

The orchestra is a community orchestra with players of varying age and experience, from Grade VI to professoin, perfoming works from classical to 21st century.  We usually give 3 main concerts a year, also a Children's Concert and a "come and play" workshop day.  We rehearse in Abergavenny on Sunday evenings.

The orchestra has enjoyed a continuous increase in its playing standards over the last 16 years, allowing us to perform works by Brahms, Sibelius, Shostakovich and Mahler, among others.

Vacancies in all sections of this friendly amateur orchestra. Performing a huge variety of repetoire, we are quickly building up a reputation for delivering enjoyable concert programmes for the whole family! Fortnightly rehearsals on Fridays, Nottingham.

Our orchestra is only recently established and we are looking to increase its membership. We play music that ranges from medieval dances through traditional classical pieces to contemporary pop and world music. The ethos for the orchestra is based on creating support and encouragement for players in the early stages of ensemble playing, as well as helping those players returning to their instrument to regain past skills, building versatility and confidence.
