Marchwood Prelude is a friendly community orchestra  based in Marchwood, on the edge of the New Forest in Hampshire, and is currently seeking a bandleader/lead conductor.

Marchwood Prelude is part of Marchwood Music Society. We play film, show and light classical music specially arranged to suit the 30-piece ensemble, which comprises members of a range of musical abilities. Our  supportive ethos encourages people to enjoy making music together, and we involve the local community by raising money for good causes. Conductor: Orchestra and/or Wind Band

West Norfolk Music Centre is seeking a new conductor for its Community Orchestra and Beginner Band, rehearsing term-time Saturday mornings in King's Lynn, Norfolk.

Voluntary conductor for a small string group

We are a string group called Highly Strung based in the New Forest. We have about 10 to 12 regular players of a good standard and we are looking for a conductor. We all pay a small sub to cover expenses such as hall hire but this does not stretch to paying a fee for a conductor and so ideally we would like to find someone who conducts for love just as we play for love. We meet twice a month in New Milton, Hampshire on the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 19.00 to 21.00. Our main purpose is to have fun playing music from the vast string repertoire.

Music Director required for Ember Choral, a medium sized SATB choir based in Thames Ditton, Surrey.

We are a well established enthusiastic amateur choir of 30 mixed voices looking for an inspirational and dedicated Musical Director to start in September 2022

We enjoy a wide repertoire of sacred and secular music through classical church and folk music up to modern works by current composers.

We rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 7;45 to 9;30 in Northampton and perform 2-3 concerts per year with orchrstra or organ accompaniment.

Bath Choral Society (founded 1887) is today a thriving mixed-voice amateur choir with over 80 auditioned members of all ages and a reputation for the exceptional quality of its recent performances.

 The Choir performs a varied repertoire, particularly sacred and traditional choral music performed with professional orchestra and soloists in Bath Abbey and other local venues. The choir currently performs four/five concerts annually and occasional workshops. We are planning to reintroduce our biennial overseas tours once COVID allows

 The Choir seeks an inspirational leader from October 2022 to build on the choir’s considerable successes. The Musical Director will further develop the Choir’s musical skills to deliver high quality performances. He / she will propose the musical programme, select choir and professional performers, take weekly rehearsals and conduct concerts.
