Accompanist

Knaresborough Choral Society (KCS) is a well-established SATB choir in the historic town of Knaresborough, with approximately 70 singers. We rehearse in Gracious Street Methodist Church, Knaresborough, on Thursday evenings during term-time, from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. The society performs three concerts each year, covering a wide range of music. We have an exciting programme planned for the coming season, under our wonderful Musical Director Daniel Rodriguez, which culminates next year in our 40th Birthday celebrations.

                                                                               APPOINTMENT OF ASSISTANT MUSIC DIRECTOR

Ipswich Chamber Choir is a well-established group of around 45 voices approaching an exciting 40th Anniversary Season.   Friendly, hard working and enthusiastic, we give three concerts a year - in late autumn, March and June.  We meet weekly for rehearsal in the centre of Ipswich on Tuesday evenings between September and June.

A bit about you

You’ll be available to join us on Wednesday evenings 7-9 at our rehearsal base in TabernaclChapel, Bridgend. You’ll be welcome to accompany us in our three concerts a year, (usually in the excellent acoustic space at All Saints’ Church, Porthcawl) as pianist and/or continuo player. You may have organ experience, but this isn’t essential.

 WE ARE A CHORAL SOCIETY BASED IN CARSHALTON SURREY AND DUE TO OUR EXISTING ACCOMPANIST MOVING AWAY ARE IN NEED OF A REPLACEMENT.

WE REHEARSE ON MONDAY NIGHTS FROM 8.00 PM TILL 10 PM

OUR REPERTOIRE IS LARGELY CLASSICAL WITH A LIGHTER STTLE OF CONCERT IN THE EARLY SUMMER AND A CAROL CONCERT PRE CHRISTMAS.

Guilsfield Singers are a friendly, mixed choir of some 30 – 40 singers meeting on Thursday evenings at the Old School in Guilsfield, a village between Welshpool and Oswestry. Our current accompanist will be starting her University course in September 2023, hence the vacancy. We are looking for an able accompanist with enthusiasm and flair in their playing. The ability to also play the organ would be a real bonus!

Established chamber choir seeks accompanist for rehearsals on Wednesday evenings in North London

Congleton Choral Society is inviting applications for the role of accompanist to the choir.

The choir rehearses on Mondays 7.30 – 9.45 at Trinity Church, Wagg St, Congleton.

The successful candidate will be an excellent pianist with good sight-reading skills and the ability to play choral parts as well as full accompaniments for the choir’s repertoire.
