Conductor/Music Director

Applications are invited for the post of Musical Director for Reigate & Redhill Choral Society (RRCS), starting in January 2025. Established in 1941, we are an ambitious choir open to all ages without formal audition, currently comprising around 90 members across all voice-parts. RRCS has an impressive history of programming concerts incorporating a diverse range of works, from the most popular classics to a selection of contemporary music by British composers, often performed with professional soloists and orchestra.

Dunbartonshire Concert Band (DCB) is a vibrant, popular and sociable community wind ensemble based in Bearsden just north of Glasgow. The band was formed in 1973 and performs throughout Central Scotland, with occasional overseas tours. DCB has a regular calendar of concerts which includes indoor and outdoor events, charity concerts and festivals, with a varied repertoire ranging from classical to contemporary to film and popular music.

We are a large symphony orchestra based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, performing about 6 concerts per year in and around Cheltenham.

Our players have a wide range of ages and experience but all are dedicated to perfoming orchestral works to a very high standard.

Eye Bach Choir (EBC) is looking to appoint a new Musical Director to succeed Leslie Olive who has announced his intention to step back from the Choir at Christmas after 18 successful years.

We are a thriving community brass band in the beautiful cathedral City of Lincoln. We are looking for a Musical Director to start asap to fill the vacancy that has recently arisen.

Claygate Choral Society is looking to appoint a new Musical Director to commence in January 2025. Formed in 1959, we are a local choral society based in Claygate, Surrey, comprising around 45 members.

A new  Musical Director is required for Coats Choral (formerly Thomas Coats Memorial Choral Society) for the season starting January 2025

Remuneration is by annual fee to be agreed with the successful candidate as will terms of contract

Selection will be by interview and participation in a short audition rehearsal with the choir on 24th September 2024 in Paisley.
