Conductor/Music Director

The warwick and Kenilworth Choral Society is seeking to appoint a Musical Director to conduct a choir of about 60 SATB voices. Four concerts are held each year from the choral classics, folk songs and more contemporay works. 

Pro Musica is a friendly, well-established choir of around 30 keen and often experienced singers based in Lewes, East Sussex.  We are seeking to appoint a new Director of Music from January 2024.

Hayes Symphony Orchestra (HSO) is a community orchestra based in the Hayes/West Wickham area of South East London. We typically perform between 3 and 4 concerts per year (season) in local venues, working with a range of soloists.

HSO is a registered charity and we have around 40 regular members. We tackle a broad and challenging repertoire. Rehearsals are held weekly in ‘term time’ on Wednesday evenings and we hold up to 9 rehearsals before a performance, normally on a Saturday.

Formed in 1904, Capel Choral Society is a non-auditioning amateur choir. It has a rich heritage of musical achievement and has taken part in every single, with the exception of the war years, Leith Hill Musical Festival since its inception in 1905.

Canbury Singers is a 50 strong group of enthusiastic and dedicated singers looking for a new Musical Director to start in September 2023.

We are currently seeking a new Musical Director for our clarinet choir.

• We are an auditioned clarinet choir made up of amateer 16 players. 1 Eb, 10 Bb's, 2 Alto's, 1 Bass, 1 Contra-Alto and 1 Contra-Bass

• We rehearse every other Thursday in Nottingham term time 7.30–9.30, in Long Eaton, Nottingham

• We are self funded and run by a voted committee

• We have 4-5 concerts each year

Telford Orchestra is looking for an energetic and articulate individual to proactively work with the orchestra to help us develop and improve into the future. The vacancy is from September this year.

Dartington Community Choir is seeking an experienced Music Director for January 2024.  We are a non-auditioned choir of 110 singers based at Dartington Hall, near Totnes, Devon.  We meet every Monday evening during term-time and give two formal concerts a year, in April and November, and additionally perform at community events at Christmas and hold workshops and an informal summer concert each yea

Enthusiastic and friendly SATB choir with 33 members looking for a committed and engaging Musical Director to inspire and challenge them. Repertoire is classical for winter concert, lighter programme for May concert.

We are looking for a Musical Director to start in September 2023.  We are an enthusiastic non-audition choir of about 80 members. Each year we perform an early Summer and an Autumn concert as well as a Christmas carol concert and occasional other ad hoc performances.  We rehearse on Tuesday evenings in All Saints School Fleet. This is a self-employed, remunerated position.
